DAVID Howe, who won the Elite League title with Wolverhampton 16 years ago, will be back at Monmore tonight riding for his hometown club Leicester.
Howe has agreed to step in for Josh Auty, who crashed heavily at Workington last night and is out for at least the next week.
Leicester boss Simon Stead said: "It will be interesting to see how David gets on at his former track, he did a lot of laps there down the years. Hopefully he can get some important points for us in place of Josh."
Wolverhampton co-promoter Chris Van Straaten said: "David remains a popular lad here at Wolverhampton and it will be nice to see him again tonight, but hopefully he won't be scoring too heavily.
"The role he played back in 2002 was pivotal to our title success."
